Senior JDE Warehousing Consultant

ERP Suites is currently looking for a Senior JDE Warehousing Consultant to join our team.

Senior JDE Warehousing Consultant combined Industry & JDE experience in consulting as a functional consultant.

We're looking for someone with strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead troubleshooting analysis, perform functional configuration and support upgrades. Proven experience guiding clients through business process improvements and solving day-to-day issues and identify areas for opportunities for building roadmap. Ability to support team, work independently and manage multiple task assignments. Prior experience leading or managing projects. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills. High commitment to exceed performance expectations. Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers. Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances

Location:

• Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location. 
• Although the position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel required based on job needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position focuses on guiding and assisting clients through day-to-day system support of JD Edwards Advanced warehousing module
• The consultant will be responsible for working with the client team to resolve issues, troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and continue system enhancement to optimize business operations
• The resource should have extensive knowledge and experience with JD Edwards Warehousing and JD Edwards Advanced Warehousing business processes with Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, Shop Floor Control, Configuration Management, Requirements planning, Enterprise planning Facility and more
• Using in-depth knowledge of the JD Edwards Warehousing and JD Edwards Advanced Warehousing Applications, as well as industry best practice expertise, consult with clients to provide cost-effective solutions to solve business issues
• Provide high-quality customer support, by working with client teams in gathering information to solve day-to-day system issues
• Troubleshoot client issues by performing various activities such as research, open SRs, system testing, and system configuration
• Collaborate with client team in performing upgrade activities such as system configuration, testing and end-user training
• Proactively contribute to the overall support process, by suggesting & executing new process efficiencies, documenting common support issues and workarounds, to minimize number of future support requests
• Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval
• Identifies and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving system issues
• Work with Oracle to resolve service requests
• Participate in team training activities to keep current with JD Edwards’ functionality
• Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 7 to 10 years of related work experience in JD Edwards in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Enterprise Application Integration
• Strong leadership skills: able to conduct meetings and write functional specifications for development team.
• Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives
• Preferred experience with program leadership, governance and change enablement
• Mentor junior team members

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with BI Publisher, and other third-party software.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Familiarity with reporting tools
• Familiarity with design – Menus, Form extensions, UXone UDO – (like Watchlist, E1 Pages, Orchestrator solutions, Advanced queries), BIP Output, E1 Batch application, E1 Interactive Applications.
