The company develops one of the world's leading design software solutions for machine and panel builders. We continually evolve the business with help from our Marketing, Sales, and Professional Services Teams as we grow our presence in the North American Markets.We are looking for a Channel Sales Manager focus on driving the sales of EPLAN's platform of solutions through Channel partners.
This role will identify potential new partners in the industrial automation industry including oil and gas, automotive, food and beverage, and power and machine tool engineering. You will need to have a proven ability to build relationships with regional and national partners to showcase the value of working with EPLAN and enable them to sell our platform of solutions.You will contribute by focusing on a Sales and Engineering approach while supporting the assigned Channels; Develop a strategic business development plan to effectively identify and recruit channel partners to sell EPLAN's platform of solutions. Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the available market and business opportunities and make recommendations to increase market share.
Establish key Partner relationships for assigned existing channel partners. Work with the regional EPLAN Account Managers to define an overall channel strategy to manage deployment and revenue growth. Identify and Track potential opportunities with New customers and additional projects with the existing customer base.
Facilitate a cross-functional effort between outside sales, inside sales, professional services, EPLAN leadership team, and EPLAN strategic partners to help meet and exceed customer expectations. Grow business at established accounts, develop new accounts and find share shift opportunities and incremental sales from these accounts. Provide support, training, and leadership with inside sales, outside sales, operations, and key stakeholders within channel partner accounts.
Become a driving force in the development of the overall EPLAN Channel go-to-market strategy. Facilitate cross-functional engagement across business units to gain alignment regarding the program and end-user opportunities. Other duties as assigned.What we are looking for is; Bachelor's degree required.
Business Sales, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree required. Strong knowledge and a minimum of five years of channel sales experience in the CAD/CAE industry Engineering experience/background preferred. Consistent record of sales growth of technical software solutions to large clients with multiple locations.
Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management tools (SAP) is preferred.
