Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Location: Lebanon, Oregon -- Must be willing to relocate or live within 40 miles of our facility.

Schedule: Night Shift - 3.5 days a week (3-12's and 1-6 hour 42 hours per week)

Salary Range: $19.00 hr. plus shift differential up to $4 per hour

Position Summary:
The Quality Associate is primarily responsible for the testing of samples received from the production floor for the assurance of meeting customer requirements.

• Conducts physical testing of product against the manufacturing specification to determine appropriate product disposition
• Conducts physical testing on raw materials to ensure compliance with agreed upon supplier specification
• Communicates test results to appropriate individuals including production operators, lead and management personnel
• Tests and verifies that key test equipment is operating and functioning as expected to ensure material test results are accurate

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), required.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to then develop reasonable solutions.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a laboratory or quality role
• Familiarity with chemicals and safety procedures
