EMR CPR is hiring for a Business Development Manager/ Account Manager. The BDM/AM works under the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) providing as client ineterface onsite, working with current onsite team & Operations Management to drive a 2.0 Mark Up, as well as increase client relations for future opportunitues. The BDM/AM is responsible for driving client satisfaction/customer experience based on services rather than projects. Areas of support include: Desktop Support and Desktop Relocation, Low Voltage Cabling, Audio Visual Deployments, and Data Center Relocations.

We provide growth/training opportunities. This is a great opportunity for a foundation toward a position as an CSO.

Compensation: $45k-$60k/salary starting DOE

Business Development Manager responsibilities

  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
  • Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors
  • This position reports to the CSO
  • Be overall account owner for Fortune 100 and 500 companies
  • Main goal is to retain existing business and grow more business within each strategic account assigned
  • Book Trade Show events to attend and all coordination for trade shows
  • Travel to client site and trade shows, within US... About once a month outside of bay area
  • Marketing- To include email blasts and new clients and creation of marketing materials
  • Call prospects to maintain sales
  • Other duties as requested by CSO

Business Development Manager skills

  • BA or BS degree
  • Five years proven track record in business sales or related market
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements
  • Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner
