Production Manager Manufacturing

Plastic manufacturing company seeking a Production Manager Manufacturing to join their team! 

You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

• 24/7 operation, ideal candidate must be open to working varied hours (i.e. start at 4 or 5 am when needed, or stay late…whatever it takes to not neglect night shift).
• Has 3 supervisors that will report to them (total headcount in that department is about 100)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Place production orders from customers
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who:

• Has plastic manufacturing experience
• Must have Print Press experience (this one is non-negotiable)
• Preferably Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
• “Safety” experience a big plus
• Demonstrates empathy; is fair and consistent
• Has a strong analytical skill set
• Self-starter
• Detail oriented
• Flexible work schedule
