Job Descriptions:Scope of Position: Provide outreach, intake and eligibility, case management, and overall coordination of services for the Re-Entry Program. Provide supervision and support to the Youth Re-Entry Career Navigator. Essential Functions:Work with the court system, probation, and parole to promote the program and re-entry servicesMarket the program throughout Lehigh Valley to all partners; strengthen community and employer relationships to ensure enrollments, training, and job placement targets are metCreate outreach strategies to include social media, digital outreach tools, and printed literatureHelp candidates obtain necessary information/documents to complete program enrollmentOversee recruitment and enrollment of eligible young adults; maintain timely, accurate and complete data tracking for participantsEngage participants immediately upon program referral and build working relationships to mitigate barriers to employment and retentionProvide referrals to community partners when appropriateCoordinate services with the Youth Re-Entry Career Navigator and education and training providers to raise career awareness and ensure training options that lead to viable career pathsPartner with the CareerLink Business Services Team to build relationships and host onsite recruitment events with Second Chance employers; provide advocacy for returning citizens with the employer communityDemonstrate knowledge of and competency in the program by adhering to contract guidance and policies; ensure that positive outcomes and goals are met as required by contractProvide ongoing support during transition to employment and ongoing retention through outreach and social media outlets such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google HangoutProvide weekly status updates on program benchmarks and conduct strategy meetings to support positive outcomesParticipates in monthly state meetings and generates monthly and quarterly performance reports for the grant fundersLeverage CareerLink partner staff ongoing to secure optimal services for Youth Re-Entry participantsRequired Experience:Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, business, education or related area is preferredPrior experience working with the justice system a benefitAbility to prioritize tasks and document visits and contactsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent follow-through when corresponding with partners, staff and customersMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationProficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferredKeyword: manager,justice system,excellent communicationFrom: EDSI
