E-Finity Distributed Generation is a growing energy solutions provider. We are the exclusive Capstone Turbine distributor in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States as well as the Caribbean Islands. In addition to Sales and Service E-Finity manages our own remote monitoring systems. These systems focus heavily on metering and data collection with on and off-site system monitoring.

The primary role of the Junior Systems Administrator will be to support our monitoring solution, configure/troubleshoot Linux systems, and light user support on Window and various business applications.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot basic network & system issues
• Administration of servers and other networked devices
• Monitor network and server infrastructure
• Equipment Inventory
• Document technical procedures
• Scripting
• User support
• Other related duties

​Required Qualifications:

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Scripting/Programming fundamentals
• Some Linux Experience
• Basic networking concepts
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Detail-oriented
• Previous support of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite

Familiarity with any of the following is a plus:

• Linux CLI, QEMU/KVM, Ansible
• SQL, PowerShell, BASH, Python, JSON

Education:

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge/work history
