Job Description
An entry-level position for a project manager that can gather requirements and create specification documents for software features. Works closely with Software Engineers to ensure they have enough information to build software and meet long-term objectives.
Manage software projects with a focus on long-term product objectives.
Job Duties:
Assist project manager in planning and coordinating projects
Scope and document software projects
Collaboratively define and manage requirements
Explore technical feasibility and time investment compared to alternatives
Create project plans with tasks and estimates; track on JIRA
Manage projects throughout the development process and regulate project scope
Revisit scope and use cases when developers reach roadblocks
Keep everyone updated on development progress
Prioritize and oversee bug fixing efforts
Organize, facilitate, and assist in testing
Coordinate graphic design needs with development and product owners
Meet with clients to understand integration needs and solicit feedback on product roadmap
Research competitors and industry trends
Protect information assets and follow security processes
Maintain confidentiality and privacy
Required Experience:
2+ years of managing software projects
Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience leading in-person and remote meetings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced skills in tracking, calendaring, and organizing meetings, decisions, and commitments
Experience managing expectations of clients and internal stakeholders
