If you are available all seven days of the week, you live within a reasonable commute of our address in Hagerstown, and you have great customer service skills, please apply to be scheduled for one of our in-person Tours with Interview this week! We are hiring for all three shifts:

1st shift - 8:00am-5:00pm (15.00/hour)

2nd shift - 4:30pm-1:00am (16.00/hour)

3rd shift - 1:00am-9:30am (16.25/hour)

This is not a Monday through Friday position, but successful candidates will be provided a predictable, full-time schedule with two days off in a row each week. Schedules depend on business needs.

Overview:

Our Central Station Operators monitor incoming alarms, confirm emergencies with customers, and dispatch emergency services when necessary. They also take incoming calls and they treat each customer with respect and integrity. Our operators work onsite at our Hagerstown, MD location.

Duties and Responsibilities of Central Station Operator:

  • Monitor and dispatch high-volume incoming alarm signals
  • Update alarm notes during/after dispatch
  • Make courtesy calls to customers on low-priority alarm notifications.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers
  • Provide service excellence at all times
  • Various other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Customer Service Representative a plus
  • Excellent Phone, Computer and Customer Service skills required
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with a high degree of accuracy
  • Clear communications with customers, coworkers, and field technicians
  • Meet all UL and TMA requirements to a passing level (will train)
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Open availability (days) required

Operators must pass security license screening under Maryland State Police.
