Job Description

Dwell Design Studio seeks a driven and creative leader to join its dynamic team who relentlessly reject boring. The Project Manager has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects, their teams, and prepare strategic plans for project success. The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs, project communications and documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments. Estimates fees, determines the scope of work and prepares proposals and contracts. Dwell's award-winning architectural and interiors team works with both housing and retail developers, including some of the nation’s largest Real Estate Investment Trusts, in designing high density, mixed-use, and urban infill projects. Our experience spans many states from Arizona to South Florida, up through DC, Virginia, and Maryland, and into New York and Connecticut. Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Have a positive attitude with a sense of humor
  • Excellent leadership attributes to mentor supporting staff
  • Excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through ability
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding and preparation of design projects through all phases of development
  • Experience with high-rise projects nice to have
  • Proficient in Revit or similar design applications
  • Prefer 8+ years of design experience
  • License preferred but not required
  • Professional degree from an accredited college or university
