The Buyer Agent we are looking for is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. In addition, they demonstrate on a daily basis the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits of a high-achieving buyer agent who is committed to putting clients first, to do the right thing, and to seek win-win agreements.
Dutko|Ragen Buyer’s Agents demonstrate a commitment to learning and strive for growth by regularly attending courses, teaching courses when appropriate, and regularly practicing scripts and dialogues with the team.
Buyer Agent Job Duties & Responsibilities
Prospect for clients, schedule appointments, obtain agreements, and conduct high-level fiduciary needs analyses
Consult with clients to ensure fiduciary service of the real estate transaction from initial contact through contract to close
Effectively negotiate, or oversee negotiations, for all buyers
Develop expert knowledge regarding mortgage financing, neighborhoods, schools, and all homeownership issues
Schedule and attend on-site property inspections with clients and vendors
Provide buyer clients access to homes under contract as needed for measuring, inspecting, and etc.
Promptly return all buyer client telephone calls, texts and/or emails.
Gather and answer buyer questions about potential homes and local community
Educate buyer clients about home buying process
Facilitating the buyer process from start to finish with assistance from team
Hosting weekend open houses to showcase our listings while having an opportunity to meet new clients
Keep lead agent informed on all client communications and developments (copied on all emails & update notes in CRM)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop a strong rapport with clients quickly.
Professional demeanor and dress, communicates with clients in a helpful, positive, and professional manner.
Customer service or sales experience a plus.
Strong written communication skills.
Flexible schedule, able to work evenings and weekends when most clients are available.
“Can do,” team oriented attitude.
Chronically on-time and punctual!
Reliable personal transportation.
High school graduate
Real estate license
1–3 years of industry and sales experience preferred
