Human Resources Specialist

Join a small but mighty HR team serving a luxury custom cabinetry company. Dutch Made Cabinets, a member of the Revive Home Brands family of companies, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist. This is a great position to be on the front lines of HR in a manufacturing setting working as the site HR presence responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Be part of a multi-site HR team with over 35 years combined experience.
We are looking for a full-time person, but will also consider college students graduating this spring for part-time until graduation.
Essential Functions
- Work with management to administer employee handbook policies, attendance, and performance management programs.
- Maintain employment records, including HRIS system.
- Assist with benefits management and solving employee issues. May include FLMA and other leaves of absence.
- Backup and assist Accounting Department with payroll administration.
- Recruit for location to ensure proper staffing.
- Manage onboarding, orientation and off-boarding.
- Other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions
- Assist with training and development.
- Employee communication and event planning.
Qualifications / Experience / Education
- Post-secondary education in HR or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- SHRM or HRCI certification a plus.
- 1-2 years HR experience preferred. Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and analytically driven.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
