Dura-line is currently recruiting for a proactive field engineer with outstanding communication skills, mechanical skills, and industry experience. We are looking for a customer-centric Field Solution Engineer/Solution Architect that can work REMOTELY in Nevada or bordering states and cover Western USA territories. You will represent Dura-Line as the point of contact at our clients’ installation sites to train them and provide hands-on assistance on best-in-practice installation methods while completing accurate technical documentation and conducting presentations for our internal cross-functional team. This is a jack of all trades job!

This role is very hands-on and will require you to assist with client installations and complaint locations to determine root causes and help in any way we can. We need someone that is not afraid to be onsite and get their hands dirty, use mechanical tools, feel comfortable being around heavy equipment, and can provide assistance with the installation of our conduit pipes and a variety of other products. After helping on the installation sites, complete technical documentation, and use Microsoft office to gather, analyze, and submit data in our ERP system.

Why do you want this role?

· There is a lot of travel involved in various sites, you must be ok traveling with short notice (flexibility is key). We offer a great travel policy, mileage reimbursement, sky miles, and hotel points.

· In this role, you will be able to meet various people in the industry and develop a relationship and build your network as well as exposure to executives. You will be able to create and maintain lasting customer relationships and establish yourself as the technical “expert” that customers rely on.

· There is growth opportunity- We will invest in your capabilities and development!

· We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, 401k, PTO, holidays, and much more!

We are looking for a good communicator that is comfortable picking up the phone and speaking directly to clients and end-users whether it is resolving their product complaints and issues, building technical credibility to influence customer’s decision and recommend product enhancements and solutions, or selling our products to support sales efforts. Passion is in every role we do; we need an enthusiastic person that can work with various vendors and customers to bring that same level of energy to every project.

You will learn to communicate the ins and out of our industry products to help develop lasting relationships with vendors and customers while assisting them as the subject matter expert on Dura-Line products. You will be empowered to recommend the best solutions and train them on the process with help from the product management and sales team. Information will be documented and standardized globally, so you must be computer savvy to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience in ERP systems is desired as you will enter the information in SalesForce as a communication tool and record of customer contact.

As Dura-Line’s Solutions Architect, you will bring your energy and excitement to transfer product knowledge through training and coaching as well as developing standardized technical documentation and conduct data-driven professional presentations for small and large audiences. As you will be working remotely, there will be several installation sites that we will need your assistance on, so flexibility and managing your own schedule is critical- no day will be the same, are you up to the challenge?

A background in power utility, telecom, datacom, outside plant, or data center construction experience is needed to be able to understand the conduit pipe installation process and help our customers in a timely and prompt manner. If you have worked in construction and have knowledge of aerial and underground conduit and/or duct installations and/or fiber cable experience (jetting, placing, splicing), you can easily bring your skills and knowledge and make an impact right away.
