Dura-Line is currentlyhiringfor ahighly collaborativeand analytical thinker to join our Operations SIOP team as theNEW Demand Planning Analystworking remotely in the USor Canada.In this role,you will develop demand forecasts for assigned product groups and customers at multiple levels of aggregations and time horizons,preparerelevant material to facilitate discussion during demand planning meetings, andrecommend adjustments to ensure that the most current and accurate information is used to create a consensus demand plan.
We arelooking foran intellectually curious individual that can predict the futureby strategicallyusing data& analytic insights. Musthaveprevious experience creating visual dashboards (in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)that can be used to make data-driven business decisionsand candisplaythe impact of current demand plans against established KPIs. Detail oriented & committed to accurate data with a passion for delivering successful resultsare the secret ingredients for success!
You must have somefamiliarityofstatistical forecasting modelsand applications and calculations for forecast accuracyand be able to gather, analyze,and validate data. Astrong knowledge ofMicrosoft Office (primarily Excel,SAP& Salesforceis a plus)is key as you will use & maintain the Demanding Planning Software to execute statistical model, track KPIs,issue reports/models,and integrate commercial & operations forecasts.
You will needadegree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, Economics or similar technical field of study, or equivalent practicalexperienceinSupply Chain, inventory management, or demand planningin amanufacturing or industrial environment(APICS, IBF, or similar certification is a huge plus).FamiliaritytoLean Manufacturing/Six Sigmatechniques & tools to help yourefine forecasting system & methods to better anticipate the customers needs in addition to measuringand trackingforecast accuracy and use as input for continued forecast process improvements.

Outstanding communication& interpersonalskillsarekey in this role because you willbe the primary liaison between Operations, Planning, Sales, & Purchasingand partner with global cross-functional teams.You will build analyticalsupport models & dashboard, synthesize recommendation, and create reports & presentations to communicate effectively & clear to all audiences.Positive attitude,ability to strategize, able toprioritize multiple tasks effectively while working under strict timelinesandadaptabilityto constant change.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of dataas it pertains to business decision making & its impact.A curious and driven mindset will help you identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence for integration with demand planning.
