Quality Engineer - Mountain Grove, MO - *$10,000 Sign-On Bonus*

We are currently recruiting an experienced and passionate Quality Engineer for Mountain Grove, MO manufacturing facility to ensure it is TL-9000 compliant and assess, develop, and implement enhancements to the operations quality system while ensuring quality, cost, and the efficiency requirements are met.

With your strategic focus, you will resolve quality issues of capability, tolerancing, and materials related issues by proactively identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resources. You will enable the proper evaluation of critical to quality characteristics using monitoring technologies as required and deployed opportunities to drive long-term success.
We need an investigative leader to create and deploy quality assurance/QMS processes and translate customer and/or internal product specifications into the product monitoring system to execute the in-line product monitoring strategy. You must be data-driven & take the initiative to drive improvements while analyzing and diagnosing current and potential quality issues.

You will work closely with our engineering and production personnel to enhance the standardization & application of good manufacturing practices. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to build trust and credibility with the team to provide training & guidance and lead capability improvement plans. You must have 3-5+ years of hands-on experience deploying Quality Engineering & Calibration System processes as a Quality Engineer or Quality Tech with the agility to impact and drive success in the organization.
Bring your knowledge and best practices to implement enhancement to the quality management system and processes by using your lean manufacturing (Six Sigma Projects, 5Y & Fishbone events) expertise. You must have a proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment and formal training and previous experience as an Internal Auditor. What else can help you succeed in this role? A strategic and result-focus mindset is needed to synthesize data and summarize outcomes to provide recommendations on compliant path forward. You will lead the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) including the maintenance and control of the plan and develop the foundation of processes and applicable core tools like Advanced product quality planning (APQP) & Control Plans, Process Flows, product specs, statistical analysis process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and more. This is a hands-on role & you must be an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
