Cafeteria Help

We are the Premier City Club in Downtown Pittsburgh hosting the region’s most interesting thinkers and innovative leaders in business, industry, finance, politics, education, philanthropy, law, medicine, and the arts.

We are looking to hire a full time CAFETERIA HELP.  Hours would be daylight from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be occasions where one would need to work on the weekends if the Club is having a big event, i.e., Children's Holiday Party, Mother's Day, etc. All employees must work on New Year's Day. The Club is closed for some of the holidays and on Sundays.

One must be professional, friendly, engaging and helpful at all times providing a memorable experience for the employees. The goal of the Club is to work together as a team so that our members receive impeccable service. The employee cafeteria attendant will prepare the dining room for operation and service on a daily basis. The attendant will be responsible for setting up the room with chairs and daily menu items for the salad bar, entrees, sides, desserts, utensils, napkins, salt & pepper, etc. The attendant will ensure a continual supply of items throughout the day. Attendant is responsible for removing trash, sweeping floor, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tables, chairs, counters, etc. throughout the day. Attendant will ensure that atmosphere is conducive to pleasant dining for all employees and will involve the supervisor should their be a breach of employee rules of conduct.

Position requires mobility and dexterity to bend, stoop, grasp, reach, twist, etc. One may be required to stand during the entire shift. Physical strength and capability to manually push, lift and transport items approximately 25 pounds (lifting) and 50 pounds (pushing).

This is a conservative environment. No visible tattoos or facial piercings, men must be clean shaven with hair cut to collar, and ladies must have hair tied back.
