Description
As a Software Developer at Dupaco, you'll be a part of a collaborative team that creates custom software to improve our internal and external member's experience. You'll be:

  • Working independently as well as in a team environment to develop new or enhance existing application as assigned or provided in technical specifications
  • Building unique, Dupaco-specific applications that create enhanced web and mobile experiences by utilizing extensive development experience and industry research
  • Collaborating with marketing, cross-functional teams, and end users to achieve objectives
  • Involved with the full software development life cycle - design, test, deploy, and support custom software
  • Enhancing and maintaining online banking applications
  • Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
  • Thoroughly documenting notes within code when making functional changes to applications so that others can understand what changes were made
  • Organizing and managing multiple priorities in an agile work environment
  • Partnering with training team to create staff user manuals for applications as needed
  • Serving as a resource for questions within team and assist with training as needed
  • Providing quality service to members, potential members and coworkers
  • Demonstrating teamwork and professionalism in all interactions with coworkers
  • Promoting a professional image of the credit union at all times
  • Performing other duties as assigned
You'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' experience in C#/.NET programming language
  • Advanced experience using front-end web languages (HTML5 / HTML , CSS3 / CSS , JavaScript , AJAX , JSON , XML , and JQuery)
  • Experience using Microsoft web development (i.e. IIS , .NET , MVC , C# , Web API)
  • Ability to design and optimize Microsoft SQL queries
  • Experience using Git Software (or similar system) to track changes in source code
  • To be a self-starter with the experience and confidence to see a project from start to finish
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging skills, and an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Other preferred experience:
  • Experience using object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jira
  • Experience with formal software development processes and methodologies such as Agile and SCRUM
  • Experience with the React JavaScript library
