Job Description

·         Job Description: Are you a creative, highly-motivated, data-driven marketer with a passion for engaging customers and launching new product features? Do you have an attention for detail, and the expertise to develop, test and launch customer lifecycle marketing campaigns? Voice & Devices Marketing Team is seeking an Acquisition Marketing Manager to create and execute marketing programs from concept through delivery, partnering closely with cross-functional Audible and Amazon teams including product, data science, marketing and design. This role will join a full-funnel (Audience Development, Acquisition, Engagement) marketing team based out of Seattle, WA and Newark, NJ.

You will be responsible for developing customer Acquisition communications to drive first listens, purchase consideration and acquisition on Amazon Devices, such as Alexa and Fire Tablet. You will educate users about the unique features and benefits of listening to Audible on Devices, while addressing the challenges customers face with the voice technology. You must have the ability to work at a strategic level (generating innovative ideas based on customer behaviors) and a tactical level (optimizing campaigns with experimentation tools, analyzing results and solving problems). A successful candidate will possess great project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success. Responsibilities

·         Design and test marketing campaigns to improve customer Acquisition for Amazon Devices.

·         Own campaigns from end to end: creative process, segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization.

·         Use internal tools to A/B test campaigns for effectiveness and automate wins.

·         Research and present leading industry practices and apply insights to approach.

·         Develop segmentation strategies, leveraging internal tools to identify and target high propensity customer cohorts.

·         Build journey maps to keep track of complex customer experiences.

·         Work with Sr. Manager to define success metrics, measure and report the impact of our work.

·         Partner with Engagement Manager to develop and execute a cohesive customer lifecycle strategy.

·         Partner with product teams to track and release new features directly to the customer.

·         Drive business case development, forecasting and ROI targets for new opportunities.

 

Basic Qualifications

·         Bachelor Degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications and/or relevant field.

·         3-5 years of relevant work experience in performance, acquisition, and/or product marketing.

·         Experience working with marketing tools including email, web analytics, direct and social.

·         Experience partnering closely with product and data science teams.

·         Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale cross-functional marketing programs.

·         Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.

·         Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

·         Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization and gain support for initiatives.

·         Accomplished range of skills from strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.

·         Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.

·         Have relentlessly high standards and a high attention to detail.
