Account Manager, Specialty Solutions, NAR

This position is responsible for managing a territory of industrial customers in North America as part of the Global Specialty Solutions team, division of DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences (N&B). As an Account Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing a high-level of service to a wide-range of customers and at the same time exploring and developing new markets /and or new applications
 Delivering the sales plan on a customer and territory level
 Build relationships with key stakeholders in the customer organization
 Develop in-depth understanding of customer needs and capabilities
 Creating, maintaining, and progressing an opportunity pipeline to drive above-market growth in the territory
 Ability to scout new potential customers in previously unknown industrial markets and/or new applications.
 Ability to adapt product value proposition to new applications, as needed
 Hands on profile (compose commercial proposals for existing and new customers, coordinating trials at potential customers, conduct business reviews with existing customers, accurately forecast customer demand, etc)
 Strong interpersonal skills to establish new commercial relationships fast as well as new internal relationships with regional teams around the global
 Excels at teamwork
 Ability to relate/adapt across multiple cultures
 Strong entrepreneurial drive with a desire to deliver solutions with speed and agility

Qualifications:

 Chemistry or technical background/degree combined with at least 5 years in sales/application development/customer facing roles
 Experience in markets like coatings, paints, ceramics, paper would be considered as a strong plus
