You will be responsible for supervising the property's complete maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe. Responsibilities
•Travel to different homes across the Atlanta surrounding areas to perform maintenance and repair tasks on various work orders.
•Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of systems, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, utilizing your expertise and problem-solving skills.
•Perform repairs and replace defective parts as needed, following manufacturer's guidelines and safety protocols.
•Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment condition.
•Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance tasks and timely completion of projects.
•Follow all safety regulations and protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a safe work environment.
•Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
•Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations
•Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
•Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours
•Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads
Qualifications
•Own truck/vehicle preferred
•Valid driver's license and good driving record required
•Experience with facilities management software is preferred
•This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
•You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
•This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
