Overview

DreamHost is looking to add a Staff Accountant who will be an integral member of the team, taking ownership of core accounting and reporting processes. This role will be full time and on site in our Fullerton, CA office. The role will involve frequent interaction with senior management, so professionalism and communication skills are critical. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated and quick to learn new processes. Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly close journal entries and month end reconciliations

• Record cash activity and perform bank reconciliations

• Understanding of chart of accounts and AP invoice classifications

• Process vendor invoices using third party processor

• Prepare Accounts Receivable invoices

• Assist with office procurement function

• Process expense reports

• Basic financial and variance analysis

• Support audit, tax, and regulatory research requests

Requirements

• Applicant must be able to work daily from the Fullerton, CA office

• Strong ethical foundation that guides decision making, treatment of others, and personal responsibility

• Strong work ethic, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and pride in ownership of work produced

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or with an emphasis in accounting)

• Experience with NetSuite, Tipalti, and/or Concur is strongly preferred. Will also consider candidates with demonstrated ability in other comparable accounting software

• Excellent Excel skills

• CPA license or CPA candidate preferred but not required

• Will need to pass a background and reference check

Salary: $50,000 annually
