Job Description

Draslovka is hiring an experienced Sales Technical Representative for US/Canada Region.  The Sales Technical Representative should have a clear understanding of the mining chemicals and the ability to demonstrate how they work. Their responsibilities will include establishing the needs of the customer and ensuring that the client is completely satisfied with what Draslovka offers. To be a successful technical sales representative, you should be able to develop an excellent rapport with our existing customers, identify their needs and wants, ensure continuous supply, and identify potential new clients. A top-notch sales technical representative should be knowledgeable about mining and related industries and should have the ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients. 


The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: 


  • Provide day to day customer management for all mine sites in region (demand, pricing, SDS, questionnaire, eLearning, etc.). 
  • Monitor orders and receivables per contracts and maintain short/medium term demand in system 
  • Identify key site stakeholders, maintain, and build relationships at individual mine sites. 
  • Work with supply chain to assure fleet, destination ports, and carriers match needs and customers are serviced optimally. 
  • Work with Draslovka operations and customer service to assure product delivery dates and specs. are met as requested per customer. 
  • Coordinate Customer complaint investigations and communicate back to customer. 
  • Provide initial technical, product safety and operational support to all customers in region. 
  • Identify project opportunities to support the customer and engage Mining Solutions Product Safety & Technical Consultants in implementation. 
  • Support Strategic Account Managers in new/renewal contract negotiations, Request for Prices and Bid Processes for new customers and leads follow-up. 
  • Availability (Travel 50% and customers work 24x7x365, need to be responsive anytime, any day) 


In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Chemical, Mechanical, Mining Metallurgical Engineer or Similar Degree. 
  • Experience in technical role as well as commercial/sales experience
