Our client is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for the management of central nervous system (CNS) disorders.


As the IT Manager, you will ensure the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within a company. You will assist with one-off technology issues and help to onboard each new employee with the appropriate technology access. Security is essential to our client, so you will be responsible for establishing security for all IT systems.


  • Degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • 5 - 10 years experience in IT (manager position preferred)
  • Experience with security systems for highly regulated industry
  • Computer hardware and software - setting up servers, computers for new hires
  • Troubleshooting and support ticket resolution
  • Setting up SOP’s Procedures for computer systems
  • Scaling users - the company could onboard 50-100 people over the coming months


  • Act as liaison with 3rd party IT providers
  • Running regular checks on network and data security
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
  • Designing training programs and workshops for staff
  • Conducting regular system audits
  • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
  • Managing and reporting on the allocation of IT budget
  • Providing direction for IT team members as needed
  • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
