Optician

Our beautiful, family oriented, private practice is looking for a full time Optical assistant/dispensing Optician. Must have 3+ years experience dispensing glasses and contact lenses. Must have experience filing vision insurance with VSP and EyeMed. Job responsibilities include: Front desk responsibilities such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance coverage along with patient pretesting which includes visual field testing, entering medications and medical history. The job requires experience in helping patients with lens and frame selection and making minor adjustments and repairs to glasses. The position includes competitive starting salary, paid vacation and national holidays, pension plan, and free optical services & materials. Weekly schedule will be: Monday 9-5, Tuesday-Closed, Wednesday 9-5, Thursday 12-8:00 P.M., Friday 9-5, Saturday 8:00 A.M.- 1:30 P.M. Please visit drengelberg.com to check out our office!
