Equipment Maintenance Technician- Etch and Thin Films D-Shift

We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician. As an ETF Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will perform corrective and preventative maintenance on etch and thin films manufacturing equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on etch and thin films equipment (50%)
• Repair and recovery manufacturing equipment after tool errors / faults (30%)
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to root cause (20%)

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and concise written and verbal pass downs to on-coming shift.
• Accurately and clearly document technical solutions.
• Provide cross-training to ensure back-up capability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Preferred: Associate degree – Electronics or Electronics Technology or Electronics Engineering

Minimum Experience:

• 2+ years Semiconductor equipment engineering, or
• 2+ years Flat panel display manufacturing / equipment engineering, or
• 2+ Solar equipment engineering, or
• Flexible display manufacturing / equipment engineering, or
• Military experience in electronics, automotive, mechanics, RF radar or aircraft.

Required Competencies Skills/Knowledge & Proficiency Level:

• Semiconductor manufacturing equipment repair and maintenance – HIGH
• Analyze equipment schematics for advanced troubleshooting of complex problems – HIGH
• Interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral and written communication – HIGH
• Understand blueprints, schematics, and work from written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervisor - HIGH

Work Environment:

• Fab-Clean Room – 85% of job
• Subfab Room (mechanical, electrical, pumps) – 10% of job
• Office Setting – 5% of job
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Carrying up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Work Schedule:

• Compressed D- Shift 7pm-7:30am Wed, Thurs, Fri plus every other Saturday
• Additional hours as needed to achieve business objectives

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wages: $19.23-$48.08 per hour, depending on experience
• Annual Bonus: 10% (prorated based on DOH)
• Night shift differential D-shift (15%)
