ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through daily customer service excellence
  • Overseeing inventory management at the store level
  • Acting as liaison between warehouse and store
  • Coordinating and executing weekly deliveries of sold merchandise
  • Overseeing store delivery truck (maintenance, safety, registration, etc.)
  • Unloading, loading, and placement of furniture and dcor product
  • Preparing (assembling) merchandise for sales floor
  • Maintaining a clean and safe store on a daily basis
  • Building and growing product knowledge

Supervisory Scope

  • Managing a team of 2 to 4 backroom associates
  • Training, developing, and motivating backroom team
  • Acting MOD (manager on duty) when required
  • Partnering with Store Manager on staff scheduling
  • Keeping team productive and on task through a side-by-side work mentality
  • Inspiring achievement through leadership, dedication and reliability

Working Conditions

  • Able to spend entire shift on feet
  • Lifting 50 lbs. 80 lbs. comfortably and repetitively
  • Assembling and repairing furniture and dcor merchandise
  • Customer service environment where attention to customer is top priority

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current and valid driver license required
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours (Saturday availability required)
  • Knowledge and skillset of basic carpentry tools
  • Maintain high integrity and a strong work ethic we want a self starter
  • Excellent attention to details and strong organizational skill set
  • Ability to be a problem solver and multi tasker
