Dow Credit Union in Midland, MI is looking to hire a positive, engaging full-time Member Solutions Support Representative for Collection Activity, Fraud, and Loss Mitigation to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to ensure quality service standards for collection activity, fraud, and loss mitigation. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and have a basic understanding of consumer lending processes, credit union products, services, policies, regulations, and procedures.

Member Solutions Support

We are a fast-paced and member-focused financial institution committed to providing exceptional service to our members. As a Member Solutions Support, you will be an integral part of our team, working with members to ensure a positive experience that enhances existing and potential member relationships.

Essential Duties:
  • Contact appropriate parties by phone or mail; mails delinquency letters
  • Prepare documents for imaging and storage
  • Assist in processing requests for small claims, probate court claims and legal action
  • Process recovery payments
  • Process account garnishment and levies as received
  • Assist with documentation for wage garnishments and income tax refund garnishments
  • Provide support to the review of accounts and transactions for fraudulent activity and take appropriate action to prevent fraud losses and recover funds.
  • Support the investigation of fraud claims or potential losses incurred by debit card fraud, deposit fraud, forgery, kiting, altered checks and other fraudulent activities in accordance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Up to six months of member service, collections, lending or call center experience required
  • This position requires onsite working arrangements.
