POSITION OVERVIEW: dormakaba is seeking a Frame Line Supervisor to join our Operations department in Phoenix, AZ!This position will be responsible for being a key leader to assigned production lines Driving daily/weekly/monthly success by understanding all dimensions & expectations of the production line, and is also a key component of driving a Lean and Continuous Improvement culture.PRIMARY DUTIES: Serves as department champion & coach of quality, Lean, and process improvements to promote a continuous learning environment Works with Production, Quality & Engineering, and Plant Managers to help employ strategic & operational objectives, assessing the current processes performed among functional areas Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries Maintains quality service by... establishing and verifying organization standards are met Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of collaboration within and between departments Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; working with Human Resources when needed; and recommending action Identify training and development needs to build long-term competencies and bench strength within department Responsible for collaborating with HR & Production Manager to create & deliver performance appraisals/annual merit to all direct reportsCRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS: Basic understanding of Lean principles & tools in a manufacturing setting, and the ability to apply these principles to drive continuous improvement Ability to overcome obstacles and encounter the unexpected and continue moving forward Ability to understand, collaborate, and execute corporate led initiatives such as performance reviews Effective analytical and conceptual skills Ability to exhibit strategic planning and use problem solving methods Ability to use practical knowledge to solve a variety of production related issues Support in the analyzing of problems and collaborate in appropriate solutions Skills or experience with personal computers, including E-mail, personal scheduling, and Microsoft Office Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate across multiple levels of management Ability to use wide range of measurement instruments measuring tape, calipers, etc.Manual dexterity and mobility sufficient to extensively, safely and productively use hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, small grinders, welding stingers and similar fabrication shop equipment.Sufficient mobility to allow the employee to work in restricted or out of normal positions Ability to maneuver on the shop floor and outdoors Ability to lift 50 lbs.repetitively during a shift.REQUIREMENTS: High School Degree/GED or equivalent required, Associates/Bachelor's degree in Production/Operations preferred 2-3 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting 2-3 years metal fabrication experience preferredPUT YOUR TRUST IN USWE OFFER: A global company with a family culture and strong core values Competitive compensation package with benefits coverage options Career fulfillment with growth and development opportunities Employee discounts (online discounts for shopping, travel, insurance etc.) dormakaba USA Inc.Interested?Michaelle Thixton is looking forwardto your application.In case of questions just dialPlease only use the "Apply now"-Button
