eCommerce National Account Manager

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for managing growing the and Juvenile Nursery, Infant Health & Safety, and Toy segments of the business. As an NAM, you’ll need to be highly motivated, develop growth strategies, perform data analytics which influence business decisions, and solve complex problems through critical thinking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute business strategy that aggressively grows sales, meeting or exceeding financial objectives on the Walmart and eCommerce platforms
  • Deliver brand share and drive sales objectives through promotional planning
  • Develop distribution, pricing, and merchandising strategies based on consumer research that provides insight into what drives shopper path to purchase and POS behavior
  • Cultivate and maintain a productive relationship with our Walmart and Sam’s Club customers (may include: dotcom buyers, category specialist, site merchandisers, content acquisition teams, etc)
  • Influence customers’ decisions in critical business areas by using conceptual techniques and data based presentations
  • Is responsible for new item sell-in and throughout product life cycle (item setup, sell-thru, forecasting, in-stock, pricing, EOL)

  • Individual maintains ownership for financial planning

  • Tracks plan progress and conducts periodic reviews with customer
  • Use analytical tools and integrate various data systems to category and competitive insights
  • Innovative, solution-oriented mindset and ability to drive collaboration across diverse functional groups to achieve goals
  • Works with demand planning to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education


    • 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent management experience
      • 3+ years’ experience in a retail environment, eCommerce preferred
      • 2-year experience working on a cross-functional team
    • Previous experience with the specific customer account preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
    • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to travel 25% of the time
