We offer an attractive salary designed to attract and retain qualified individuals.DonorConnect is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) who will be responsible for assisting with the operations of the Business Intelligence (BI) program.
The BIA understands processes and workflows and uses that knowledge to design and implement data management solutions. This position utilizes contemporary data analytic techniques to assure informed decision making and drive organizational change and process improvement. The BIA designs, develops and maintains databases for data storage and data mining.
The BIA acts as an administrator of various systems and provides guidance for utilization.Under the direction of the Chief Quality Officer/Director they will responsible for the following:Assists the Chief Quality Officer/Director with overall operations of the BI program. Meets routinely with the Chief Quality Officer/Director to review projects, goals, requests from other departments and any other significant concerns. Under the guidance of the Chief Quality Officer/Director acts as the primary administrator of the BI program.
Assists with the determination of BI project prioritization. Utilizes contemporary analytic software and techniques to identify and develop value added data and reports. Collaborates with industry and internal partners to innovate data techniques, security, metrics and reporting processes.
Serves as a resource to the organization for various software and applications. Ensures timeliness of internal and external report requests. The BIA is responsible for providing accurate and concise reports for informed decision making.
This includes working with internal and external stakeholders to design and maintain dashboards and reports. The BIA is accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management. They conduct analyses of organizational processes and participate in the development of key performance indicators, process improvement changes and easy to use reporting tools for end users.
Designs, develops and maintains databases for data storage and data mining. Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered. Assures quality and integrity of data.
Seeks continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data. Acts as the primary administrator for various systems to include but not limited to the SharePoint and the Learning Management System. Coordinates with departmental content managers to create and maintain intranet.
Troubleshoot and resolve intranet system issues. Acts as the backup administrator for various systems to include but not limited to the internal EMR and various network applications. Maintains a comprehensive knowledge base of EMR system functionality for the end-user experience, system mapping and data reporting.
Assists with prioritizing internal EMR projects and their impact.Qualifications: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background checkMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Training/Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, data/business analytics, mathematics or similar field required Required Knowledge: Business intelligence experience required Microsoft Office 365 applications (SharePoint/Excel/Power BI/Word/Outlook) Ability to write SQL/SSRS and Power BI queries Knowledge of Python, Java Script, Visual Basic for Application Knowledge of business statistical analysis techniques Experience Required: Minimum three years' experience in a similar positionMinimum two years' project management experience Skills/Abilities: Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills Ability to be well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail and balance multiple priorities with different deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication Excellent interpersonal relationship skills; ability to interact with all levels of employeesAble to work well under stress Able to work well independently and to prioritize work
