IT Support Specialist

Due to growth, successful and established IT support company is seeking an additional IT support professional. Clients are located throughout the Metro Atlanta area, but the office and most of the relevant clients are in Gwinnett County,

Job Description:

• Travel to customer offices for upgrades, troubleshooting, system maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system and network problems.
• Monitor systems for availability and efficiency.
• Develop basic recommendations for improvements and upgrades to meet client demands.
• Must be able to resolve technical issues utilizing the proper hardware, software and operating system configurations.
• Work with hardware and software vendors to ensure excellent support and operability of systems.
• Troubleshooting of all Microsoft desktop products and operating systems
• Maintain a network for consistent server up time.
• Performing designated system checklists.
• Providing user workstation support as needed.
• Providing support on projects as designated by coordinator or manager.
• Maintaining documentation for network and user support.
• Evaluating new software packages.
• Providing support to fellow coworkers.
• Provide help desk support to clients, as needed.
• Perform HW/SW installations.

Job Requirements:

• Professional certification, A+ or Net+ required. Microsoft certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows 7, Windows 10, 2008 Server and 2012 Server networks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating systems, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and their implementation and maintenance.
• Basic Knowledge and experience implementing routers, firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spam technology
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of low voltage cabling.
• Excellent project management, communication and documentation skills.
• Valid driver license and dependable transportation
