Information Technology End User Support Technician

• Fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows operating systems
• Basic troubleshooting methodology and end point management and optimization
• Windows 10 deployment via MDT
• Fundamental understanding of LAN and WAN environments including IP subnets
• Printer troubleshooting and fleet management
• Proactive maintenance: mass upgrade of drivers; firmware (BIOS/UEFI); printer firmware
• Bit Locker full disk encryption
• Support after hour emergency issues as needed in cases of systems failure
• Readily accept responsibility & demonstrate ability to work independently & in a team environ. as judged by peers & mgmt.
• Work with team members to understand & update system configuration documents and technical specifications and document system changes
• Provide input for the establishment of system policies and procedures, standards and schedules
• Assist all of our users with any logged IT related incidents when called upon
• Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary
• Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system
• Install and configure new IT equipment
• Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
• Maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently & in an appropriate manner
• Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization
• Highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities
• Exhibit a flexible approach to working on a rotational basis and provide necessary cover where needed
• Ability to prioritize, manage and perform under pressure to meet SLA’s

Technical Functional skills:
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical issues verbally and in writing
