Don Brown Chevrolet is looking to hire a Business Development Sales Assistant to join our Business Development Center (BDC). Don Brown’s culture of customer service and a commitment to transparency enables us to provide exceptional service and exceptional value for our clients.


BDC Sales Assistant Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience; experience in an automotive setting preferred
  • Confident, pleasant and professional phone voice
  • Possess time management skills and be able to work independently
  • Take direction well
  • Must like being part of a TEAM
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Clean background check

BDC Sales Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market to potential customers
  • Assist our CRM Sales Manager in managing our Internet Sales Team
  • Listen and be attentive to customer needs and priorities in order to provide appropriate suggestions and guidance on our vehicle offerings
  • Provide superior customer service and achieve highest degree of customer satisfaction
  • Work in close partnership with sales consultants to provide qualified leads and detailed information on customer requirements
  • Meet specified monthly targets and goals
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
  • Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly
  • Contribute to the overall success of the dealership by working with all customers, teams and departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive, roll-up your sleeves attitude

BDC Representative Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Prior customer relations or BDC experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train and develop the right individual.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Self-starter, motivated and success driven
  • Confident, positive and high energy presence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screenings

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • Sales: 1 year
  • CRM: 1 year

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time available
Pay and Benefits commiserate with experience
