The Channel Sales and Marketing organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our business and ongoing development of our product. We are seeking a Sales Representative to help grow our channel business and support market awareness of Doma's home warranty solution, Cura. To realize this, we need you to build relationships, employ soft- and hard-selling strategies, and enable our internal and external teams towards product adoption.

What you'll be doing
  • Take ownership of revenue generation, develop new opportunities, manage pipeline, create and execute account strategies, and close deals.
  • You do this by building deep relationships, developing processes, and driving attach of our product with sales teams, partners, and homeowners.
  • Assist in the development of go-to-market plans as we expand our reach and route-to-market.
  • Become a subject matter expert for our line of business and be the go-to person to field questions from internal and external partners.
  • Provide engaging, thought-provoking presentations to our partners that inspire product adoption.
  • Share progress and collaborate with team to ensure project plans are on track and on time.
  • Monitor key performance indicators that support growth and continue to refine plans accordingly.
  • Some of your time will be focused on developing and cultivating relationships outside the office with referral partners, channel partners, and directly with consumers with the intention to drive sales and meet your revenue targets.

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a closing role, preferably in the real estate and/or home warranty industry
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience
  • High integrity and high energy
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales best practices and processes
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment
  • Excels at planning and tactical execution
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Proficiency in CRM softwares for sales and marketing processes preferred
  • Self-motivating and accountable
  • Respectful, honest, and humble

The base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $150,100 This is the lowest to highest base salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the base salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Doma, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

This job is also eligible for the following compensation components: Commissions
