Job Description

$13.62/Hour
1 Year+ Contract
12 Hour Shifts
Several Positions Available

Crews are working 12 hour shifts for protection against COVID-19 and crews do not over lap. The work schedule will be 12 hours each Thursday, Friday, Saturday, off Sunday, then work 12 hours each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then off 7 days and return to work the following Thursday to start the rotation again. This will be for the duration of required social distancing due to COVID-19.

-The location is storage of the products that are used in the field (gas, electric, ppe equipment)
-Absolutely NO cell phones are allowed while working. They must be put away prior to starting.
-Mandated OT during storm season.
-Work schedule 7 - 3:30 PM however, during the summer the hours are adjusted to earlier start times due to the heat of the building.
-Working with receiving materials and cleaning up.
-The worker will be provided a custom fit harness.
-Steel toed boots that cover the ankle are required.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The main goal of a stock clerk is to prevent production slowdowns or sales losses by making sure there are adequate supplies of merchandise or equipment on hand. When stock clerks receive deliveries, they unpack the boxes, inspect the items, and return unsatisfactory or damaged goods to the wholesaler or distributor. Acceptable merchandise is then arranged on shelves and racks, in bins, or on the floor of the stockroom. Stock clerks are also responsible for marking goods with the proper identifying codes and prices so that supplies can be retrieved easily. When stock clerks receive requests or orders for items from the stockroom, they send the appropriate merchandise to the right department. In large stockrooms, automated material-handling equipment is used to help store and retrieve goods. Receive, receipt for and store materials. Issue and transfer materials. Maintain records as required. Conduct inventories as required. Must have legible handwriting skills. Operate forklift trucks and other powered material handling equipment, including a turret, stock picker, fork truck, manual and motorized pallet jacks. Load, Drive, and unload a truck, all in accordance with procedures. Be able to climb onto racks while wearing a harness. Follow all PPE requirements. Keep a neat and orderly storeroom. 

QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience special skills): Ability to lift items which may exceed 50 pounds in weight. Must have a valid Driver's license. Experience performing similar and lesser skilled work as required. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Steel toed boots (must cover ankle) required. Hard hat and safety glasses will be provided.

For protection against COVID-19, all workers are scheduled for 12 hour shifts 3 days in a row. Off days are worked in to the schedule and crews do not overlap. Workers must be available to work any day of the week.
