District 19 Community Services Board has an opportunity for a full time position providing individual and group therapy and case management services to mental health, substance abuse and/or dually diagnosed adults in the community setting. Position is located in the Colonial Heights clinic.
Essential job duties of this position include: clinical evaluation, individual and group therapy and case management functions. Assist substance use and co-occurring consumers in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, social, educational and vocational services.
Requirements (Experience, Essential Educations and Skills Needed):
Successful applicant must have: Master’s degree in human services; considerable demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy to consumers with substance use and co-occurring disorders; adult mental health experience; basic computer skills with adaptability to electronic records; flexibility to work evenings.
Licensure preferred, however, individuals who have completed supervision hours and need only to sit for the state licensing exam will be considered.
Work experience in group/individual with SUD work in a public agency preferred. Experience working with consumers in the criminal justice system, and experience with crisis intervention.
Preferred Qualifications /Other Relevant Job Information:
Bilingual (Spanish) candidate preferred.
Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective employee's knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the position's duties. Current or most recent verified salary will also be taken into consideration prior to making an offer of employment. Starting salaries for new employees will not exceed the advertised maximum and will be based on the availability of funding within the current budget.
