istrict 19 Community Services Board is offering a full-time Administrative Support Specialist II position to provide administrative support to the Petersburg SUD clinic. Essential duties of this position include: receptionist duties in a courteous and professional manner; filing, receiving and following phone calls, data input, write correspondence, verify eligibility of benefits, and financials; ensure consumer confidentiality, create and maintain statistical data, order and maintain office supplies.
Requirements: (Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):
Successful applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent; experience with multi-line telephones; at least 2 years of experience in mental health or medical setting; knowledge of medical or behavioral health reimbursement, experience in data entry/typing; computer experience with Microsoft word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications / Other Relevant Job Information:
Preferred Experience with using Profiler/Electronic Health Records. Some college preferred.
Position requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, occasional lifting of approximately 25 lbs., bending/squatting to access records/files. Frequent data entry/typing/keyboarding.
Bilingual (English, Spanish) candidate is preferred.
Position is Grade 202. The minimum annual salary is $26,500.00.
Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective employee's knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the position's duties. Current or most recent verified salary will also be taken into consideration prior to making an offer of employment. Starting salaries for new employees will not exceed the advertised maximum and will be based on the availability of funding within the current budget.
