Assistant Project Manager

Job description:This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a high end residential custom cabinet design and fabrication shop. We also are vested in a few other markets outside of just residential such as commercial cabinetry, fixtures, and now granite as well. So we've racked up a vast amount of work. Hence we're looking for an Assistant Project Manager who will be responsible for assiting project managers in the planning, directing, and coordinating job activities including preparing, producing, and delivering products while meeting quality grades on schedule.Responsibilities:Knowledge & Skills: Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to summarize and communicate orally in person or over the telephone and in written form over email.
Ability to manage a variety of information while being able to properly sort, organize, and delegate personal duties.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of the Cabinet Industry and how it operates.
Knowledge to understand different wood species and products that may be used.
Team oriented and the ability to operate with a diverse group of people.
