Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter  reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is a critical role in the successful execution of the commitments and service to our business. The incumbent is responsible for all functions related to hiring qualified candidates from non-exempt through management-level positions. He or she will contribute to our talent acquisition strategy by managing full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and transition to onboarding. Work collaboratively with hiring teams throughout the organization, guiding hiring managers on recruiting strategies, industry trends, market data, as well as constructive and objective influence with hiring decisions.

Essential Accountabilities:

· Oversee the recruitment strategies and processes related to the sourcing and onboarding of permanent and provisional union labor;

· Track all recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire);

· Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches);

· Coordinate with department managers on forecasting future hiring needs;

· Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations;

· Work with recruitment and employee-services 

· Provide direct support and involvement in the recruitment of all office personnel from non-exempt to management positions;

· Provide an excellent candidate experience at all touchpoints, delivering ongoing feedback and guidance throughout hiring processes

· Deliver qualified and viable candidates for hiring teams

· Contribute to the shaping of the evolving recruiting team and strategy

· Manage a robust requisition load that covers a multitude of skill sets, functions, and levels

· Partner with hiring teams to create and execute recruiting strategies

· Source, evaluate, interview, and interact with candidates to make the hiring process effective, efficient, and positive for both candidates and managers

· Negotiate offers to close candidates

· Ensure the hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process and interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally

· Be a self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success
