Job Description

 

This is a Remote work from home position. Agents will be working on our Client the New York State Unemployment Department. You will start on Thursday Aug 13 and Friday August 14, 2020 at 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM for Orientation. Employment is contingent upon background check and attending the required training.

Mandatory 6 days of paid training will be held from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the following days:

Monday 8/17, Tuesday 8/18, Wednesday 8/19, Thursday 8/20, Friday 8/21 and Monday 8/24. All 6 days must be attended. Failure to attend required training will result in employment termination. Training cannot be rescheduled and is only offered on these specific days.

 

This position requires the employee to provide their own computer PC and headset with microphone. The PC must have the capability to use Google Chrome. (Mas's, Chromebooks, Streambooks and Tablets are not compatible).

As an Direct Interactions Agent you will be responsible for answering calls and providing claimants of our client the CA EDD answers to their questions regarding their claims.

Schedules are published monthly and are subject to change. Most shifts are 7.5 hours with scheduled two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Our shifts vary based our client’s needs but standard hour of operations is from 8:00 AM Pacific to 8:00 PM pacific. Schedules will be provided by end of day 8/24.

The pay for this position is $13 per hour. Payment is on a monthly basis by direct deposit.

Windows 7 or higher ( No Macs- Mac books)

Must be Ethernet hardwired ( Wireless connections is not recommended )

USB headset

4GB Memory or higher

Laptops are acceptable but not recommended.
