We are an A-Team of specialists who come from a broad range of professions, including designers, engineers, developers, scientists and support staff who are all dedicated, collaborative players making what was recently only science fiction become reality.SENIOR PROCESS TECHNICIANThe Senior Process Technician will work with the engineering and operations teams in the monitoring and improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes to enable the production of world-class waveguides and lenses that comprise our best-in-class XR... displays. This will involve exceptional collaboration with cross-functional/cross-company teams.RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect and test DigiLens optical waveguides and lenses to ensure that they meet engineering specifications and customer requirements Interact regularly with engineers to give feedback on the optical quality of DigiLens waveguides for assembly and suggest improvements to the assembly process Inspect, test, and adjust in-coming and in-process parts and assemblies to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements Maintain inventory of product at workstations and throughout manufacturing process flow via MES database Document process procedures Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain clean and safe equipment and work areas Monitor and improve manufacturing and engineering processes Understand how the steps of a process relate to each, and inherently understand processesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 5-10 years technician experience in a pilot/manufacturing environment High school graduate at a minimum, college degree a plus Familiarity with clean room operations and protocol A working knowledge of good laboratory practices; ability to properly handle chemical samples Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Good communication skills Good mechanical aptitudePREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: Experience working in a fast-paced, and high-pressure environment Understanding of semiconductor/optical device manufacturing processes and process flows Experience in photonics (laser, optics, imaging), or related process and/or equipmentPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES: Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds Regularly perform repetitive tasks; may be required to stand for extended periods of time Regularly employ manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Flexible working OT as well as in shiftsCompany DescriptionDigiLens is a leader in holographic waveguides used for augmented extended reality (XR) displays.
