Job Description

Digerati Partners is seeking an experienced, customer service focused I.T. Support Specialist to help leverage technology to make our clients as productive as possible. Part behind the scenes maintenance, part day-to-day helpdesk service, this person will provide support for multiple clients.

The ideal candidate for this position not only has an understanding of IT networks and infrastructure, but also has a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service and desktop support in a timely manner. As one of the key players who must work with every all of our clients, we’re looking for a positive person who can juggle and prioritize multiple requests with patience and a smile.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-user requests; troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, applications and network

  • Help provision and deprovision hardware, user accounts, software and cloud-based applications

  • Maintain inventory of equipment and vendors

  • Research, recommend, and deploy IT hardware and services

  • Documentation of systems for end users and other IT personnel

  • Deliver amazing customer service and continue to build the brand of ‘Best in class IT’

  • Troubleshoot issues effectively – know when to use your resources and when to escalate

Qualifications:

  • 6+ plus years of experience providing face-to-face support to users in a heterogeneous network

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Apps, Office 365

  • Experience supporting Windows Server, AD, DNS, and networking.

  • Experience in both Mac and Windows systems

  • Setup and support of mobile devices including iPhone and Android

  • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot problems with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills – you work well with people and can put a frustrated user at ease

  • Prioritize tasks and work independently, while closely collaborating with management and clients on broader IT projects.

  • Basic knowledge of setting up and troubleshooting A/V systems

  • Curiosity and habit of learning and educating others on new technologies

  • Ability to think ahead and present pros/cons of various solutions

  • Personable and presentable demeanor
