IT Projects Technician

Digacore Consulting, LLC is a rapidly growing Managed Service Provider for business IT needs. We are currently seeking to fill an IT Technician position for our Projects team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record for taking ownership of responsibilities to completion of task. The position also requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Position Entails

· Be an integral part of the onboarding for new client sites and the upgrades of current client infrastructures.

· Responsible for configuration and installation of devices and equipment in preparation of projects.

· Develop components of technical design specifications under Projects Manager direction.

· Report progress to Projects Manager and meet deadlines.

· Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users and other internal departments to coordinate project activities and progress.

· Assist with planning, coordinating, testing and implementation of all projects.

· Create and maintain appropriate documentation for all projects.

· Provide training to helpdesk team on completed projects to be supported.

Requirements

· Advanced familiarity with setting up networks, network designs and systems.

· Experience with SharePoint Office365 migrations and setups.

· Advanced understanding of Window systems operations, business applications, printing systems and servers.

· Ability to work as a team member.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Effective written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to travel occasionally as needed -travel reimbursement provided.

· Service awareness of all organizations’ key services for which support is being provided.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required

· Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in an MSP environment or similar IT organization is required.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience with projects-related technical responsibilities.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience with Windows servers.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience with Microsoft 365.

Preferred Certifications

• BA/BS, preferably in computer science or related field, is a plus.
• Microsoft/Azure or other relevant certification is a plus.
