Job Overview

Dietzler Construction is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to assist in recruiting, benefit administration and other associated tasks in support of our various business units. This role provides high quality support to all areas of the organization and will focus on recruiting hourly field professionals,  scheduling new hire orientation, processing benefit enrollments/termination, and  training record keeping. This role will also support the executive team on a day-to-day basis.  This position is based in Denver, CO and will report to the Director of Human Resources with a dotted line to the Controller and Executive Vice President. 


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Provides recruitment support for our hourly field roles including reviewing applications, phone screening candidates, scheduling with hiring manager, preparing offer letters for qualified candidates
  • Administers pre-employment process for offered candidates
  • Schedules new hires for first day of employment, assures new hire paperwork is sent to candidate and completed prior to first day
  • Partners with field managers on HR tasks
  • Maintains employee records in HRIS system
  • Assists in benefits administration for new hires, annual enrollment, changes and terminations
  • Provides support for employee recognition

Executive Assistant

  • Provides administrative support to executive team in Denver office
  • Must work cooperatively with a team in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Other responsibilities as assigned



  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting and/or HR coordinator experience, including working knowledge of employment laws and HR processes Organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
  • BA/BS degree in human resources/business administration/ organization development or other related concentration preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate to an executive audience with superior professionalism.
  • Professional and service-oriented approach internally and externally
  • Self-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize and delegate tasks with conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential and privileged information
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to various work styles
  • Superior skills in editing, creating and proofreading documents
  • Advanced skills (i.e. formulas, macros, mail merge, animation, invitations) in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook) including the ability to create, edit, and format documents/presentations
