They employ NATE-certified technicians who can help with any heating, air conditioning or plumbing needs all the way from the Greater Sacramento Area to the North Valley. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall success and management of the HVAC Division . The Manager will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control the HVAC Department activities and functions to achieve budgeted revenues and profits while maintaining a strong customer focus, leveraging the brand and driving employee engagement in a rapidly changing and highly completive business environment. The position of HVAC division operations manager is to take total ownership of the department, ensuring that the essential functions do not fall back to the general managers.

Essential Functions:

  • Assume full operational responsibility for profit and loss related activities.
  • Establish creative sales strategies as needed to maintain department KPI`s.
  • Establish and maintain a Team Culture among HVAC Division personal.
  • Hold Team to high standard of image, professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce Company Policy & Process throughout the department.
  • Ensure full compliance of CSLB law and OSHA requirements.
  • Complete performance evaluations and reviews.
  • Recruit, select, and train personnel as needed per manpower to meet annual budget.
  • Identify trends and potential problem areas, take swift action to correct.
  • Constantly analyze all processes make recommendations to General Manager and CEO for cost reductions and efficiency maximization.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted revenues.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted profits.
  • Maintain working knowledge of competitors, analyze and plan for completive strategies.
  • Assume full responsibility for “Safety Program” for company and its Departments.
  • Identify areas where the potential for liability exist within the department processes and take corrective action.
  • Network in the market to promote The Brand.
  • Resolve client challenges while protecting company reputation and profit.
  • Resolve employee issues, keep department positive and upbeat.
  • Terminations and exit interviews as needed.

YOUR STRENGTHS:

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with President/CEO, staff, customers, vendors and the public in a friendly, and professional, manner.

Work Schedule/ Punctuality: Able to be on time and maintain work schedule (Monday through Saturday)

Computer Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and our internal sales and customer database

Confidentiality: Ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality about customer information and discussions about employees.

Productivity: Ability to work/produce alone and without close supervision

Friendly and outgoing: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

HOW WILL I BE COMPENSATED?

Compensation will be based on 2% of Net collected sales

Base salary of $65,000-85,000 $130k package for the year

The Company has a 401K with contribution matching up to 4%.

The Company offers a major medical, vision, and dental plans. Employees are eligible beginning the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. The Company contribution towards your medical premium is $200.
