Job Description
Dexerto is looking for an AdTech Specialist, to be responsible for managing all of our commercial and ad operations systems globally. This includes systems such as Google Ad Manager, Permutive, Celtra, SourcePoint, and many other vendors. You will be the subject matter expert in our ad systems and help integrate, manage and develop them to ensure we get the most from them. Working alongside the other teams internally you will work with our product team and other key business units to maximise monetisation across our digital properties. Dexerto is an award-winning esports and gaming media group, production house and solutions provider, with media properties including the leading esports and gaming lifestyle publisher, Dexerto.com - a major voice in digital culture for tens of millions of Millennial and Gen Z fans - and we’re seeking to continue to disrupt the media industry with a mix of both experimental, and existing initiatives. Key responsibilities* Technical ownership of key systems such as Google Ad Manager, Permutive, Sourcepoint, CMP and others.* Work closely with the Sales, Product, Integrated Marketing & Management teams* Experience at working with a range of suppliers, SSP’s, DSP’s etc across the Ads ecosystem.* Provide support to advertisers, client service team and sales team to ensure the delivery of campaigns.* Help the Ad Ops team to troubleshoot problematic creatives, campaigns and setups.* QA/troubleshoot 3rd party tags, HTML, Javascript, Celtra, and other advertiser-provided creatives.* Manage GDPR/CCPA compliance and consent actions, through the CMP* Verify and test new ad products and creatives to ensure they comply with company policies and web standards such as Web Vitals.* Be the AdOps lead in AdTech system migrations either internally or new acquisitions* Building video players in JW player or Primis, creating ad schedules and implementing VAST and VMAP tags to enable advertising, implementing Ad Rules and MRSS Feeds.* Troubleshoot VAST/VMAP creatives and video problems.* Research industry best practices and units and recommend improvements.* Find ways to increase ad KPIs where applicable (viewability, CTR, VCR%, etc..)Requirements* Experience of working in a fast-paced, performance driven commercial organisation.* Excellent client-management and internal stakeholder management skills.* Knowledge of digital trafficking / ad serving software.* Excellent knowledge of GAM, SSP and Online booking systems, Google Sheets, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Google docs etc.* Demonstrable skills and experience to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions and have an ability to use your own initiative to make decisions.* Experience working with Single Page Applications (Next.js) and server-rendered pages #li-remote
