RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES: Oversees and manages staff in the adult day facility, community and residential units as assigned. In a team setting, participates in implementing Individual Plans (IP's); reports programs and activities; implements established programs and behavior support plans; provides input for quarterly and semi-annual reviews as requested. Ensures Individuals are scheduled for active treatment at the adult day facility, in the community and at home. May assist staff as needed in carrying out their duties including provision of daily personal care. Monitors and ensures staff compliance to departmental, program, state and federal rules and regulations. Orients, trains and supervises staff to ensure compliance and high-quality care. Verifies employee payroll transaction documentation. Directs unit direct care staff in maintaining a safe, clean, well-equipped environment in all settings. Adheres to bargaining unit negotiated agreement, attends Labor Management Committee and Negotiating team, as assigned. Receives and processes grievances per policy and procedure. Assists staff in resolving problems. Conducts timely employee evaluations. Serves on a team that conducts and makes recommendations in the hiring process. Develops staffing grids and conducts selection process as assigned. Schedules and replaces staff to ensure coverage/Individual safety and well-being. Coordinating with the Director and Program Manager, prepares agenda for and conducts unit staff meetings to discuss policies and procedures, regulations, and other related unit concerns. On-call for holiday and weekly rotations and other times that may be required per department procedures (may be required to report to work on days off for meetings or emergencies in units). Works with Individuals and families to ensure high quality care and living. Prepares and reviews daily communication logs and reports on Individuals as required or requested, e.g. behavior, actions taken by unit staff, medication or illness, attendance, visits, home visits. Monitors documentation through POC/PCC system. Assures compliance with Medicaid and Licensure regulations. Monitors MED-MAR documentations. Communicates with parents and staff to discuss and resolve Individuals' concerns and progress.
COMPENSATION: Pay Range: $40,007 to $51,610
