DFI is seeking an experienced roofing inspector who has through knowledge of roofing systems, building envelopes and other minor facility rehabilitation experience. The primary assignment is to assist MDOT SHA with a major roofing project on a state facility.
Inspection staff's key role is to assure that all work is done to and within the contract drawings and specifications. Detailed daily record keeping is required and maintained in an electronic document control software. Understanding of the states material clearance process is s very strong plus.
Applicants must have and maintain a valid drivers license. All applicants may be subject to background checks and drug screening. Applicants may be required to work off schedule working hours and/or night shifts.
