Deutsche Windtechnik is in its third year of operations in the United States, and is headquartered just outside Houston, TX with a Customer Service Office in San Angelo, TX. As the largest and most reputable independent service provider in Germany, it is our objective to transfer and improve the same level of quality, safety, efficiency and customer service to the US market. Deutsche Windtechnik aims to become the strongest independent service provider in the US within the next 5 years, and you can be part of this success!

SCHEDULE:  Working hours are typically 8am 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in mining data, relational database solutions, and exploratory quantitative analysis to pull meaningful, actionable insights
  • Experience in designing and creating data visualizations in softwares such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Proficient at writing basic SQL queries
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail, stellar organizational skills, and a sense of personal responsibility for the quality of your work
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills and ability to communicate clearly with team members and external audiences

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee will need to be comfortable working with a computer for extended periods.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:

  • Develop user-friendly Power BI dashboard(s) that allow users to easily identify trends, areas of concern, and areas of improvement.
  • Write SQL queries to pull and manipulate data.
  • Provide excel support when requested by other teams.
  • Assist with daily and monthly reporting.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral English communication abilities
  • Open and willing to learn new skills
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau a plus
  • Further language skills a plus (German, Spanish, French)
  • Would need to be able to start by November 
  • Must live in or close to Houston, TX

DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Duties are performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
