Supply Chain Analyst
Exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to work for a national major food distribution company!
Starting pay $55k-$65k DOE
Location: You can be based in Redlands, California or Lacey, Washington.
You will be working in an office setting within a major food distribution center that is responsible for analyzing the life cycle of how goods are moved from our vendors to our warehouse. This position will oversee four (4) states which will include participating in the vendor set-up processes relating to how best to move product within our supply network. You would be responsible for developing and maintaining a six-month rolling demand and supply plan for assigned products.
You will be analyzing data, for example, reviewing underperforming areas in the chain which may be due to missed delivery times and routes, warehouse space constrictions, and/or weather patterns.
You will be responsible for analyzing data by utilizing or developing new technical tools such as relational database management systems, to analyze information in a faster and more efficient manner.
After analyzing data, you will suggest improvements to cut costs and improve the entire process. You will meet with leadership on a regular basis to make recommendations.
We are looking for an individual with 2-4 years of supply chain management experience. Bachelor’s degree in the field (or similar field) is preferred. Must have strong knowledge of data analysis and MS Excel. Knowledge of Kaizen Principles a plus.
